Category: Paid Survey

The Internet is loaded with websites that promise free paid
surveys. These offers are very appealing. Who wouldn’t want to
make an easy living by giving their opinions? It is like a dream
come true. But many of these free paid surveys are marketing
strategies designed to gather peoples’ contact information so
they can be later solicited with email, telemarketers, and junk
mail. These types of paid surveys are not necessarily harmful,
but they are a waste of time. Not all advertisements for free
paid surveys are phony. Many marketing companies do want to know
what consumers think of certain products and give some type of
incentive to people who take their surveys.

Paid surveys advertised by pop up Internet advertisements or
spam emails are usually less trustworthy. Consumers need to
realize that they participate in these surveys at their own
risk. These types of surveys are very common and alluring
because they often promise to give a free product like an Apple
I-pod or a Sony Playstation 2 to people who complete the survey.
Oftentimes, however, what they really do is get the person’s
contact information and sell it to marketing companies.

Keep in mind that not all free paid surveys are dishonest. Most
firms that offer rewards to people who actually come into a
building to participate in marketing research do follow through
on their promises. Well-known marketing companies that have been
in business for a long time are also usually honest about their
incentives. These legitimate offers are not as extravagant as
those offered over the Internet, but it is better to receive a
small reward than it is to be promised a big reward and get
nothing.

Free paid surveys are risky. It is important to realize that
offers that sound too good to be true usually are. It is nearly
impossible to make a living by taking free paid surveys, but
interested consumers can receive modest rewards for their time
and participation if they find legitimate opportunities

Many survey takers are ringing the bell that numerous survey scams are trying to compromise the quality services of the legit paid survey sites. Whereas experienced survey takers cannot be beguiled by the pyramid sites that emerge every day, the newbie survey takers may well fall victims of the scam artists in Paid Online Surveys. How can you protect yourself from the illegitimate survey sites?

Dear survey newbie, beware of sites that ask you to pay to access a paid survey database. You should read the privacy policy and terms of service of the survey sites you want to subscribe to. It is very likely that these same survey sites will appear in survey site indexes that are obtainable for free. It’s always better to choose a free survey site, rather than pay anything before you’ve actually started earning. Some legitimate paid survey companies require membership fees as a sign of exclusiveness and means of ensuring quality, reliable subscribers. However, most scams have mimicked this trend and have ripped off many naïve survey takers by charging alleged membership and vanishing into oblivion after cheating enough survey takers.

It is highly important to sign up for more than a few survey companies in order to make meaningful earnings. Having multiple sources of paid survey invitations is equivalent to having more than one income channel. Most survey sites offer a limited one-digit number of Online Surveys on a monthly basis. Expanding your free-time earnings necessitates that you take as many surveys as you can. Subscribing to more survey sites makes perfect sense, as you’ll get a constant stream of surveys, and thus, more constant income. But how can you tell which sites to trust?

The legitimate paid survey sites will never ask you for credit card information. They will also seldom require any upfront investment from you in the form of paying for information, booklets, tuition, certification or any other materials. Even though some legitimate survey sites also charge fees to finance their expansion and web maintenance, most rely on funds from their advertising partners, rather than their members.

It is also my opinion that the legitimate survey sites should not require membership fees, as it’s more logical and loyal to customers to let them make earnings for free. Paid survey companies are recruiting survey takers, since that helps market research companies prosper and remain competitive. Therefore, it’s the vested interest of companies to pay survey takers for the precious consumer feedback, not the other way around. Paid survey takers are the ones that need to be rewarded for their effort and time, and not be required to pay for the opportunity to earn.

Another advice that I often give to my acquaintances who take up Free Paid Surveys is to have limited expectations for their initial paid survey experiences, and be persistent in order to get to the real money-making. Experienced survey takers know that the chances of getting more, highly-paid, higher quality surveys comes as survey takers show availability and reliability. Once a company has identified you as a responsive and responsible survey taker, you stand the chance of getting more surveys that also pay above the average fee. Legitimate survey sites always recognize and appreciate their faithful and loyal survey takers, and reward them for their persistence and quality customer feedback.

The internet has flourished into a money making source with a plethora of ways to make money over the past several years. There has been much debate online over whether paid surveys can actually earn you money. While it is possible to make some extra cash, don’t plan on making a living off of paid surveys. More and more people are turning to the internet so they can work at home as oppose to going to their 9-5 job, but taking paid surveys certainly won’t fulfill this desire.

Surveys are distributed online by companies who are looking for people to review their new products and services. These companies distribute surveys because it allows them to collect market research from an array of people. Different surveys will pay different amounts just depending on what the company is willing to pay to get your information.

You have to be careful about paid surveys and the type of information that they require as well. There are several paid surveys online that simply require your name and email address with a few standard questions. However, some surveys get extremely detailed and may even trick you into signing up with them. The way they do this is by having you try a 30-day risk free trial in order to get paid with the hope that many people will not cancel their trial after 30 days.

In this case, you end up being a buyer instead of earning cash to look at their new product. Because of this, it is recommended that you only agree to such terms with a 90-day risk free trial. Otherwise, stick to the free trials that you don’t have to worry about canceling your trial.

Many money making surveys will ask you the same boring questions about their products to get the general feedback from the public. Although it can be extremely boring, it is incredibly easy to make extra money just giving your opinion on a product. Sometimes people who turn paid surveys into a work at home side-business will get asked to do several more surveys. Companies that find people that give the best feedback generally ask you to do as many as possible.

Another perk you may get from paid surveys is being given free products or gift cards. The best way to take a survey on a product is to try the product out. While this is certainly not the case for every survey, you may run into a few surveys from time to time that do indeed hand out freebies.

Paid surveys are a great way to make some extra money, but you shouldn’t be planning on turning it into a work at home business. It has its perks and it is extremely easy to pull in some extra money, but paid surveys simply don’t pay enough for you to live off of.

I was always intrigued by the paid survey industry, but the paid surveys etc scam have always made me kind of gun shy about jumping right in and starting a career as a person who gets paid to fill out surveys online. Every time I would think that I was ready to make the leap and start working from home, I would look into joining a website and find article after article about how unscrupulous the scam sites are and how they’re only out to take your money, all without making you a dime. I hemmed and I hawed, until finally I had no choice. With gas prices going through the roof and with the cost of childcare skyrocketing with my third baby, I couldn’t afford to work outside of the home anymore. I had to give it a shot.

Like I said, I was very nervous about the paid surveys etc scam that I had seen on the TV and on various websites. I did my homework and took my time in finding the right site to join that would give me the biggest lists of survey leads, so that I could in turn make a lot of money from home. In the end, I decided on Paid Surveys Etc and I have to tell you, I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

The site not only gives me access to as many surveys as I can fill out, but also gives me information on where to find focus groups to participate in. With each focus group paying around $50, I’m sure you can see how easy it is to rack up a massive paycheck. Also, I’m not the only one who has had amazing success with Paid Surveys Etc. If you go to their website, you will find testimonial after testimonial from people just like me who have made a killing online, all thanks to PaidSurveysEtc.

Paid Surveys Scams

Are paid surveys scams? I believe the simple answer is yes.

Let me share my experience with you. A few months ago I was looking to make a part-time income and after some research I found that there were a whole lot of online companies looking to pay people to take surveys. The concept seemed to make sense to me. Various companies in the real world are increasingly doing their market research online as it is easier, quicker and cheaper for them to do so. Sounded like a plausible concept so I signed up for about 30 of these paid surveys scams. Only one of them did I actually pay a fee to join.

Perhaps these paid surveys scams are technically not scams because there is a monetary reward for your time, but it is paltry. The largest amount I have received from these paid surveys scams is $3 for half an hour of my time. ( I have received an offer once for a $20 survey, but it was for a gambling website, which I have a personal objection to.) In two months, over 30 survey sites I’ve made approximately $20 in total. This is not what I call a part-time income.

In my opinion, if you want to do surveys for a bit of fun, then go for it, but if you are looking to make a part time income on the internet, then these paid surveys scams are best left alone. There are other avenues to research and pursue if you want to make an income online.

As teens get older, they start to pay for things that their parents may not, such as entertainment or other things that their parents won’t pay for. With this being the case, many teens turn to part-time jobs. While this is great, part-time jobs can sometimes interfere with their workload from school.

So, how can a teen make decent money to use for entertainment and other things, all without working a part-time job outside of the home? They can do it with paid surveys!

With paid surveys, you only need to be at least 13 years of age to participate (on most paid research sites). You earn money for sharing your opinion about topics that match your interests and demographics. The money can be great too, as most people earn an average of $100-$200 per week doing paid surveys, investing less than a couple hours of time each week.

Paid surveys are convenient. Most surveys have a date that they need to be completed by, allowing you to complete the survey at almost anytime throughout the day or night. Basically, you make money on YOUR terms, not someone else.

The best way to get a teen into paid surveys is to sign up at a paid survey bank. This is a website that lists almost every paid research website in existence (paid research sites are the sites that send you surveys and pay your for doing them). There are almost 1,000 out there. Think about the opportunity that exists within all of those sites. Teens will have a great chance to earn a decent income, AND they will still be able to devote plenty of time to their studies.
